Holy Dragon Statue
Holy Dragon Statue is the most important akaviri dragon statue and one of the most powerful akaviri artifacts. It is made out of pure blue-green crystal found in the northern Akavir. Its wings, tail and spikes are made out of pure gold. Its stand is made out of magically colored amber. It represents an ancient dragon getting ready for a battle.
History[]
First written records of the statue are from the First Era, when the Akaviri captured northern Resdaynia. A mage wrote that the Tsaesci used it to make their army invisible. Then, 100 years later, Nerevar wrote a letter to Vivec:
"The army has found a statue of a dragon. Maybe this is the akaviri dragon statue that the army was talking about..."
In the letter, Nerevar also states that the statue was made of aquamarine and emerald, not crystal. It is not yet confirmed.
The next report is from the beginning of the Second Era, from the Akaviri Potentate Versidue-Shaie. He states that the Holy Dragon Statue is in the possession of the Empire. He used the statue to destroy the enemy armies in the beginning of his rule, but someone stole the statue from the Imperial Vaults and it hasn't been seen since the Third Era, when the queen Potema used it to unite Morrowind, High Rock and Skyrim against the empress Kintyra II.
It is reported that the Holy Dragon Statue is locked in the Imperial Vaults, but it is not confirmed by anyone.
