The Staff of Destruction
Staff of Destruction is a powerful and evil artifact of Mehrunes Dagon. Few of them remember, but no one wants to know about a massacre in Artemon in the First Era. The hordes of daedra summoned by daedric worshipers killed almost everyone in town and completely destroyed it. They chopped off children's heads, legs and arms and then threw them into Niben River. It was the biggest massacre in the First Era, and maybe ever. Mehrunes Dagon gave the staff to the worshipers as a reward. Since then, the daedra worship has been banned. It is lost in today's Imperial Vaults, but some people say that it is hidden in the Battlespire. The staff has the power to summon Mehrunes Dagon himself, but the bearer of the staff has to perform a ritual first.
